An Esthetician’s Holiday Wishlist

Finding thoughtful gifts for those you care about can be a challenging task. We get it. With these five gift ideas, we hope to help you not stress out too much while you’re preparing for the upcoming holiday season.

1. A Water Bottle

There are certain “rules” that most estheticians lives by! One of them is to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Estheticians are passionate about healthy skin for their clients and for themselves!

One of the best ways to moisturize the skin is through drinking water. A great way to help out your esthetician friend, colleague, or family member to stay hydrated could be by gifting them a water bottle!

By having a water bottle on hand, estheticians are not only helping the environment but they’re getting a reminder to stay hydrated especially during the dry winter months.

You can get other inspiration from these seven ways to protect your skin during the winter.

Estheticians can get busy helping their clients have hydrated skin, that they forget about themselves – gifting them with something that helps them have hydrated skin would be such a thoughtful gift. For a little added love, you can have their name monogrammed on the bottle!

2. A Plant

Most estheticians work at some type of salon and spa. While cosmetologists are in an open area of the salon or spa, estheticians work in a treatment room mainly for privacy and peace for the client.

Have you ever thought about what it’s like as an esthetician to work in a small space for the majority of the day? An esthetician’s office is designed to create a relaxing atmosphere. Dim lights, silence, and a refreshing scent are all characteristics of a good esthetician’s space. What better way to add to that atmosphere than with a cute plant?

There are a variety of benefits to having plants (at an esthetician’s office):

  • Relieves stress
  • Enhances productivity
  • Increases your well-being
  • Heightens creativity

If you choose to get a plant, remember to opt for plants that are best for low-light situations. For obvious reasons, these plants will be able to live in places with limited light – perfect for an esthetician’s office!

3. Essential Oil

Many estheticians use essential oils because of their benefits. DoTERRA, a leader in the essential oils industry said that essential oils are the essence of a plant, a gift from the earth, distilled and prepared for you to bring the power of nature into your home.

Some of their benefits include aiding in relaxation, encouraging the body to regenerate damaged cells, reducing redness, anti-aging benefits and sustaining the body’s energy vitality. Essential oils can be used on the face (through a safe process) as well as through diffusers which are ways to add aromatherapy to their treatment room.

A couple great gifts could be a diffuser or some essential oils! Not only could they use this in their treatment room and with their patients but also at their house and on themselves.

4. Decor

Every esthetician would love some kind of decor for their work space, especially if they’re new to the industry. Estheticians try to get everything they need to perform a service like the right products and technology that sometimes they put off getting decor for their treatment room.

Before buying an art piece, you will need to do some research! A good thing to consider is the vibe of the esthetician. Is the space edgy, hippy, urban, or modern? What colors is he or she drawn to?

On your next visit, look around the space and then think about what it could potentially need. A fun art piece could change the whole vibe of the work place in a positive way!

5. Social Media Templates
