How Can I Get Real-World Experience?
We want our students to feel ready to take on the world after graduating and feel confident in their abilities and knowledge! It’s no secret that sometimes the world outside of school can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be.
At Broken Arrow Beauty College, we help our students get real-world experience by practicing in real-world situations! We have a student salon and spa and all of our students practice their learned skills with real clients under the supervision of licensed master instructors. This way they can feel ready for any haircut, client, or service to come their way after graduation!
How Can I Get Help Preparing For a Career
Not only do we let students experience real-world situations in our salon but we also provide helpful resources to them so they can be better prepared to find a career after graduation. Each of our programs includes education dedicated to teaching students about the business side of working in a salon and owning a business. We’ll help teach them how to build clientele, manage finances, prepare for commissioned-based salons, and even more.
We also include in our curriculum two mock state board exams to ensure our students feel ready to put their knowledge to the test!
